My daughter is a big fan of Homestuck and wanted to go to the next Cosplay show dressed as Karkat. I got my Creality Ender 3 going again and printed them out. I also upgraded my Ender 3 with the Capricorn bowden tube and new connectors.

Fixing a problem with filament feeding

I’ve been annoyed for the last week as my Ender 3 was not printing anything. It’d worked so well for a while, then all of a sudden no filament would come out.. or just a little bit would dribble out. I cleaned the nozzle two dozen times and cleared any clogged bits, cut off the filament end and jammed it hard into the hot end, but to no avail.

XYZ Calibration cube

I’ve recently purchased a Creality Ender 3 3D Printer and have run a few tests with the XYZ Calibration cube. For some reason, it appears I need to set the nozzle at 240C and the bed at 70C to even get a semi-decent XYZ cube. Not sure if the printer is faulty as some people have suggested or something else is going on. I tried also printing using a profile file someone had uploaded and posted on Reddit but it didn’t help. I’ve made a video of the printer doing the XYZ cube below:
